Cheri's Story
I will make this short and sweet. Have lived all over California from the city to the ocean to the mountains and to the desert. Ended up in Bakersfield Calif, was there for 14 years, graduated from Santa Barbara Business College in 85, top of my class (that was a real shocker) and in June of 99 I moved to Boise, Idaho. Been married twice, no kids, divorced since 79, a couple of long term relationships that turned sour.
I have had varioous jobs trhough out the years: drove Ice cream truck, cocktail waitress, delivered phone books, ironing, crafts, cashier at a truck stop, waitress and a bookkeeper.
I am very happy here and glad I came. I am doing much better health wise since I moved still not up to running a marathon but I do ok. ...Expand for more
I have been on disability since 92. I have osteorarthritis in both knees and hips. Still fighting the battle of the bulge. Am working hard to lose as I will have to have surgery on my knees in order to keep from being in a wheel chair and I need to be much thinner before they will do it.
I am near my family now and it is fun to watch my brothers become grandpas. I am a great Aunt 7 times over now. My mom and dad are here also they came in 98 and my brothers came in 80/81
Not much else to say I have had a lot of fun along the way, met some awesome people and some bummers. Been a bumpy ride at times but I am a surviver and God watches over me.
